For our music video will focus on, lighting, props, costumes, hair and makeup, location, color, and editing. These will be depending on the theme of our music video and style. These will also contribute to the chosen genre.
EQUIPMENT

I phone 15 pro
shanzay owned the camera and I bought my mother's phone along. We had planned to complete our shoot on the camera but unfortunately, the camera wasn't picking up the quality in a dull lightening interior. We had phones for backup so I used i iPhone 14 Pro Max to record.
*tripod:
We didn't use a tripod as we were doing a music video so we had to have a natural moving effect in the video, shanzay and I practiced a lot for stability. She had good stability so she recorded the parts which were supposed to be slow and sturdy to get that illusion of embodiment.
(PRACTICE
*Lights:
We exploited portable photography LED light to record in interiors and for exterior daylight/sunlight was more than enough.
*costumes:
both of the actors wore 4 outfits each. Firstly I researched about the colour semiotics or colour symbolism in clothing. This concept showed how colors can articulate emotions, moods, and meanings.

>GREY: Boredom, depression ( mentions sadness )
>BLACK: rebellion, power (often indicates death or ending)
>BLUE: trust, loyalty or confidence
We had planned 4 outfits to demonstrate different cases accordingly for each scene I took out outfit ideas from Pinterest.
For flashback part: Vibrant coloured clothes to show happiness
For main leads lonely parts: dead/off colors to show gloom
For fight scene: Red colour for supporting lead roleand grey colour formain lead role.

main lead role had straightened hair for all the scenes whereas the supportive role had curled her hair for the flashback part and slight waves for fight scenes.
Both of the characters did their makeup at school for the first shoot day however on other days they had already done their makeup according to the script from
SHOOTING AND LOCATIONS
LOCATION 1:INTERNATIONAL MAARIF SCHOOLS H-8 GIRLS CAMPUSISLAMABAD <Jan/16/25>
INTERIOR: CLASSROOM
we were very eager to finally shoot our first scenes! After reviewing our devices, location, storyboard, and script- we were all set to initiate the shoot. We started off from a classroom which is the first scene of our music video. We had planned to shoot our scenes with a canon camera but unfortunately classroom had dull lightening therefore the camera was unable to give out high quality shots so I chose to record from I phone 14 pro max.
INTERIOR: HALLWAY
After shooting in classroom our next spot was <THE HALLWAY>.I shot multiple shots in the hallway. Hallway was the second location that was supposed to be shot, where our character walks out of the classroom and makes an eyecontact with her ex-bestfriend.
Our character walks from the hallway towards the football ground, in between i added multiple transitions to smoothen it out which will be explained in my post-production post.
We used 5 shots from total of 10 shots in the hallway.
EXTERIOR: SCHOOL'S FOOTBALL GROUND
using the smoothest transition our character enters the ground. Here we shot so many scenes. In all of the scenes the main character is found alone where she sits and misses her ex-bestfriend. After entering the ground we take multiple shots of the character seated on a hefty rock. Panning, Zooming, Dollying all types of shots were takes here. Following the script next scenes were supposed to be <THE FLASHBACKS> but our actor was already tired so we had to schedule the next shoot 3 days apart.
LOCATION 2:KACHNAR PARK I-8 ISLAMABAD <Jan/20/25> 10:00 am.
We all gathered in kachnar park till 10 am. Our actor was sleepy so she didnt came prepared from home so she had to get dressed and do her make-up in her car while shanzay and i waited. Till she came back shanzay and I took some trial shots and i changed the settings of the camera accordingly. We started off the shoot right after the actor got ready. Here we shot the flashback part. We used the Canon camera to record the flashback scenes to give it more of a vivid/aesthetic/dreamy look. Atleast 20+ shots were taken here.
The sunlight came and went on and off, we wanted it to be sunny to make it appear more joyous but sunlight had a light brust of apricity. After tons of scenes, without breakfast or sleep i was really hungry until then we were done with the flashback part and had to move to the next scenes according to or script which was <THE FIGHT> scene.
LOCATION 3: LIT RESTURANT I-8 MARKAZ <Jan/20/25> 12:45 pm.
After a restroom break where both of the actors changed their outfits and makeup we started our shoot in the Lit resturant I-8. It was a little hard to shoot as there were many people already seated for lunch however we all managed to shoot the scenes perfectly. We were done within an hour and our hunger grew . After the fight scenes, we did a photoshoot of both the characters for the DIGIPACK and The Album covers and all after completing all the task our main lead was in a hurry sadly we couldnt give her the treat meal. while shanzay came with me to my house. We watched a movie and finally orderd food and reviewed all of the recordings.
LOCATION 4:MEGAZONE ENTERTAINMENT HUB F-9 ISLAMABAD <FEB/1/25> 11:40am. ADDITONAL SHOOT
Though we were all done with the final editing and had already shown the final edit to our subject teacher we got a big problem. our teacher told us our project was indicating another topic so we had to reshoot the <FLASHBACK> part to make it appear a friendship version music video. We started off from gaming arcade where i took many shots at arcade, and bowling alley after completing our shoot we ate lunch/breakfast and then we thanked our actor for her cooperation and went back home.
About the locations:
We had already finalized our project even before the deadline it took us weeks to edit after our final editing we demonstrated our project to our subject teacher and he said our project was predicting another topic which we weren't supposed to show consequently he gave us two options either convert the topic of the project or make a new project.
My partner and I were astounded after all our hard work our project had got recanted we got really resentful while the teacher was evangelizing us about the situation I immediately got an idea about another reshoot for the flashback part at an arcade where this project would seem more like a f friendship instead of some different subject I disseminated my idea with our teacher. He approved and gave us additional ideas to show a *friendship* though it was prominent that this music video was demonstrating a broken friendship the name of the song proclaimed another topic.
Eventually, I contacted our lead role about the situation and asked her if she available
First, she said she wasn't available because she had a flight on coming Tuesday therefore we had to plan the reshoot accordingly so my partner and I concluded Saturday for the final reshoot for the flashback part and our main lead role agreed I relieved tension.
Then we finally completed our shoot in 2 hours.
we had to re-edit as well so my partner and I chose school days to edit on it took us a whole week because everything had got missynced so I removed old flashback part which indicated some other topic and added the new arcade part.
